Yeshu 12th March 2021 Written Episode Update

The Meeninranathar Swami (Shiva) Temple is located in Keeramangalam, Pudukkottai District. The temple was rebuilt about 800 years ago and completed 5 years ago.

The temple hosts more than a thousand auspicious events a year, including an earring ceremony and a wedding held in the homes of the public from the surrounding villages. A large number of devotees attend daily anointings and pradosa worships. The chief is said to have reasoned after bathing in the pool in front of the temple.

At present, in the center of the pool in front of the temple, there is a huge statue of Lord Shiva about 81 feet high and a 7 1/4 (seven feet) high statue of the chief Bhuvar Nakkira opposite. Also yesterday (11.03.2021) special worships were held on the eve of Shivratri. It was attended by thousands of devotees. Devotees continued to worship around the lake where the huge idol of Lord Shiva is located. Thousands of devotees from various districts including Pudukottai, Thanjavur and Sivagangai were present at the Shivratri festival yesterday. Anointings with milk, fruit, rose water, honey, sandalwood and turmeric and special worships took place throughout the night.
