Rajasthan Royals batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal hit Delhi Capitals bowler Marcus Stoinis with a strong six off the first ball of the 11th over which also crossed the stadium roof.
Stoinis himself was also surprised to see Yashasvi Jaiswal’s six. Yashasvi Jaiswal, however, could not do anything special and was bowled by Stoinis in the 13th over after scoring 34 runs.
Explain that the Rajasthan Royals team was all out for 138 runs in 19.4 overs in response to Delhi’s target of 185 runs. For Rajasthan Royals, Rahul Teotia scored the highest 38 runs. Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 46 runs.
Rajasthan got its fourth consecutive defeat. Rajasthan won both their opening matches, but after that the team’s performance did not go as expected. Rajasthan’s batting did not work. Top order batsmen like Yashasvi Jaiswal (34), Jos Buttler (13), Captain Steve Smith (24), Sanju Samson (5) lost wickets cheaply. Finally, it became difficult for Rahul Tewatia (38) to win.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals scored 184/8 with the help of 45 runs from Shimron Hetmyer and 39 runs from Marcus Stoinis. Hetmyer hit one four and 5 sixes in 24 balls during his innings, while Stoinis hit 4 sixes in 30 balls.
