Whatsapp Now Brings ‘Call History’ Browsing Feature From Desktop Too: According to the latest report by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is now adding a call history tracking feature to its desktop app. That is, just as you can check call history from the phone’s WhatsApp application, you can now do it from the desktop as well – which was not seen until now.

Who, when WhatsApp is Called, to whom – can be tracked from the desktop as well.

WhatsApp is now introducing its user’s new features almost daily. It has 2 billion users worldwide. Hence, the world’s most popular instant messaging platform is always looking to enhance the customer experience with new features. According to the latest report by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is now adding a call history tracking feature to its desktop app. That is, just as you can check call history from the phone’s WhatsApp application, you can now do it from the desktop as well – which was not seen until now.

According to reports, WhatsApp has already released the beta update for Windows 2.2246.4.0 on the Microsoft Store. Through this, users can manage their call history from the WhatsApp desktop app. This means the feature is available to desktop beta users for now.

A screenshot of this upcoming WhatsApp feature has been shared by WaBetaInfo. As seen there, when you open WhatsApp from the desktop, you will notice a new tab for calling. In that new tab, users will see the entire list of their call history from the WhatsApp desktop app. Also, you can access all the calling-related information thereafter by opening the calling card.

“As the app is currently in beta version, call history cannot be synced with your mobile device right now,” the report said. In fact, calls you make from the native desktop app may not even be visible on the phone, the report notes. It has also been reported that WhatsApp may resolve this issue in a future release.

Now, who can use this feature? This feature can be used only after updating WhatsApp Beta for Windows 2.2246.4.0 from Microsoft Store. But not everyone can use it. The feature is currently rolled out for beta users only. The feature will be rolled out to some beta testers in the next few days and later to all WhatsApp users.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is bringing another feature for its desktop users, which is called Screen Lock. What will be the benefits of this? WhatsApp users have to enter their password every time they open the app from the desktop. As a result, you can rest assured that no one else can access your WhatsApp from your desktop.
