The low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal has changed to deep pressure. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the area of ​​deep pressure, heavy rain alert has been issued in many states. The rain on Tuesday morning has increased the problems of people in many areas of Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Water logging has taken place in many areas, water has entered the houses. After heavy rains in Hyderabad on Tuesday, there has been waterlogging in many places.

The Cyclone Warning Department of IMD said that due to its impact, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in the areas of Vidarbha, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, South Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. The department said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in far-flung areas of northern Andhra Pradesh, southern Odisha and Vidarbha.

The rains in Odisha along with thunderstorms have made the people suffer. Heavy rainfall has occurred in many areas of Bhubaneswar. At the same time, the risk of heavy rain in southern Odisha remains.

The IMD said, ‘The low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has turned into a zone of deep pressure. It is expected to move west-northwest in the next 12 hours. During this time, winds are expected to move at a maximum speed of 55-65 km per hour which can increase to 75 km per hour.

According to the Meteorological Department, since Monday evening, the winds of the Bay of Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry started blowing at high speed. Till Tuesday evening, the sea conditions will remain ‘bad’ in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In such a situation, fishermen have been advised not to go to sea.
