Summer hostel fees will not be charged from the students of Allahabad University (INV) academic session 2019-20. Summer hostels have not been allotted to students this time due to Corona. In such a case, students will not have to pay additional hostel fees for May and June. This decision has been taken by the IVI administration.
It may be noted that hostel fees are charged for one academic session (ten months) in the university. Hostel washouts are held in April. After this, EVIV administration allocates summer hostels to the researchers. Those students are also allowed to stay with the researchers, who are going to appear in the main examination of any Public Service Commission of the country. Apart from this, students with disabilities are also allowed to stay in summer hostels. For this, students have to pay hostel fees for May and June separately.
DSW Prof. KP Singh said that this time the fees for summer hostels in May and June will not be charged from the students, as most of the students have not been in hostels during the Corona period. But students who have stayed in hostels during this period will be charged for summer hostels.
