VBSPU 24th Convocation 2021: Chancellor Anandi Ben Patel on Tuesday awarded the Gold Medal to 73 meritorious students at the 24th Convocation of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. There are 46 girl students in the gold medal. In addition, 51 junior school children were gifted fruit and material. The ceremony began with an academic tour.
Presiding over the function, Governor Anandiben Patel called upon the students to cooperate in building society by taking education. Real education is the one that builds better character. He gave morality tips and appealed for help in preventing child marriage, feticide. The chief guest at the ceremony was former Vice Chancellor of Kashi Hindu University and Rani Laxmi Bai, the Chancellor of Central Agricultural University, the great agricultural scientist Prof. Punjab Singh He said that education, health and agriculture are the needs of the three countries. The country has made better progress in the field of agriculture.

Today, we have become so prosperous that the countries themselves are providing food to a large population and are also providing food to other countries. VC Prof. Nirmala S. Maurya gave an account of the achievements of the University. Also, congratulations to the meritorious students of medals, children from class 6 to eight.
All the departmental heads presented 15 undergraduate students including 7 students and 8 students. 58 students received gold medal in the Masters, including 20 students and 38 girls. Apart from this, 67 researchers from various faculties were also awarded Ph.D. degrees in the convocation ceremony. The program was attended by members of the Karya Parishad, Vidya Parishad besides former Vice Chancellor Prof SS Kushwaha, former Vice Chancellor Prof PC Patanjali and MLC Brijesh Singh Princeu. The operations were conducted by the Registrar Mahendra Kumar and Prof. Ajay Dwivedi.

2-2 Gold Medals in four disciplines of PG At the
convocation ceremony of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, 2-2 gold medals were awarded in 4 subjects with highest marks in PG classes. These include Neha Singh of Muneshwar College Baripar and Priya Singh of Tilak TD College in PG Education.
Kritika Kumari of Gaya Prasad Memorial College, Ambari Azamgarh, and Sanjeev Kumar were given medals in postgraduate college. The medals were awarded to Swami Sahajanand Postgraduate College Ghazipur’s Satya Dubey and Malikpura Degree College Ghazipur’s Bharatiya Chaurasia in M.Com. In physics, Abhinav Singh of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia College Jhotari Ghazipur and Hariya PG College Prayagraj Mukesh Yadav received Gold Medal.
