The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has declared the final selection result on the basis of written and interview for the recruitment of 437 posts of sugarcane supervisor. Candidates have been found eligible for a total of 430 posts. The selection result was approved in the meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Commission, Praveer Kumar.
Commission’s secretary Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri has released the final selection result on this basis. Accordingly, 274 unreserved candidates, 74 Scheduled Castes, Five Scheduled Tribes and 77 Other Backward Classes candidates have been found eligible. Candidates were found eligible for five posts in 11 reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
The Commission has kept a post vacant keeping in mind the pending cases in the government. 32 candidates have been formally included in the declared result for the 430 posts of sugarcane supervisor. According to the Commission Secretary, the candidates selected under the horizontal reservation for the post of sugarcane supervisor are included in their original category. Due to non-availability of eligible for 21 posts of Ex-servicemen category under horizontal reservation, other candidates have been selected on these posts as per merit. Five were found in the eight posts of the dependent category of freedom fighters, so on the remaining three posts, other candidates have been selected as per merit. Due to availability of 74 eligible women in reserved 87 posts, the remaining 13 posts have been selected as per merit.
This selection result is subject to writ petition in the High Court. The marks of the candidates related to the examination will be made available on the Commission’s website http://upsssc.gov.in soon. The selection result has been uploaded on the website of the Commission.
