The two-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court has stayed the order of a single bench for manual scrutiny of questions in the third subject in addition to the choice of two subjects in the recruitment of assistant teachers. Along with this, the state government and 100 other opposition have sought answers in this matter.
This order has been given by a division bench of Justice MN Bhandari and Justice RR Agarwal on the special appeal of the Selection Board of the UP Secondary Education Service. Senior advocate Shailendra debated the appeal.
The court asked the board whether the scanning of OMR sheets can be done in electronic mode or not. Can the answer book be checked or not? On solving questions other than off-topic subject, the computer can check or not. In response, it was stated that the machine will reject additional subject questions from option two subjects. Evaluation will not be possible. On this, the petitioners have asked the candidates to answer. These people gave options for two subjects and answered a different subject, a petition was filed seeking an inquiry. The single bench ordered a manual inquiry, which is challenged in the appeal.
