The PCS 2019 recruitment of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission witnessed two Ahmad changes. From this recruitment, a rule was applied to declare the candidates as successful 18 to 13 times against the vacancies for the preliminary to main examination and two times instead of three for the main examination.

The result of the main examination was declared in just three months due to the low number of answerbooks. The main examination was held from 22 to 26 September in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. The result of which was announced on 24 December. 811 candidates were declared successful for the interview. Out of total vacant 453 posts, interviews were conducted for 388 posts only because there was no provision for interview for 65 posts.

The interview was completed in just seven working days from 28 January to 4 February. The most important reason for taking less time was to call twice the number of candidates in the interview. Earlier, due to calling three times the candidates, the interview took at least two weeks. The second big reason was the substantial number of members in the commission. The Commission declared the result in 798 working days.

The examination included extension service officer one in category 2, one in labor enforcement officer, district garden officer in class 2, two in grade 1, 6 in accounting and communication officer, four in law officer, public works department, one in senior cane development inspector, animal Two vacancies of Medical and Welfare Officer and two vacancies of Food Safety Officer remained vacant due to non-availability of qualified candidates.
