UPPCS 2020: PCS-2020 Pre Examination by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was conducted in 1282 centers in 19 districts of the state in a peaceful manner. Prayagraj candidates had the highest attendance in the state. 5,95,696 candidates were registered for the examination, while 3,16,352 candidates appeared in the examination. Attendance in the entire state was 53.11 percent. 69107 candidates were registered for the examination in Prayagraj, out of which 71.23 percent candidates took the examination. The lowest attendance was 37.26 percent in Moradabad. Public Service Commission took online application for 252 PCS and 12 posts of ACF / RFO. The examination was earlier scheduled for June 21 but could not be conducted due to Corona epidemic.

PCS-ACF / RFO (Pre) Examination-2020 took place in two shifts. The first question paper of General Studies was held in the first shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The second shift took place from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. In which the second question paper of General Studies was held. Assuming the candidates who took the exam, the question paper was quite balanced. Most of the questions were from current affairs. While 40 questions were asked from the current affair, 22 questions were included from Geography, 20 from Environment, 9 from Economy, 13 from Science, 21 from Polity, 21 from History.
After half paper, the camera was installed in the PCS-2020 Pre Exam, the biggest problem faced by the candidates was the examination centers built between far and wide dirt. The candidates alleged that they had to take the exam on mosquito, dirt, broken table in the examination center Jhalwa. Not only this, after having half the paper, a camera was installed in this examination center. Candidates said that examination centers were made in a hurry. At the same time, Shivkali Ram Sahal Yadav Inter College Tharavai was also made the examination center. The candidates who came to take the examination here complained that they had to take the exam in the extreme heat. There was not even a fan in any room. Along with this, SRN Inter College located in Faridpur, Sarnath among the fields was also made the examination center. The candidates alleged that there was no connectivity to reach this center.
Candidate said, the question paper remained balanced and the candidates who came out of the examination said that the paper was balanced and said that all subjects were touched. Candidate Rishabh Tripathi said that this is the third examination on the changed pattern. The logical ability of the candidates was tested by not rotating some questions directly. Shyam Bihari said that social distancing could not be followed while going inside the examination center, but the rules of Covid-19 were followed. Questions were asked from almost all subjects. Vikas Maurya said that the quality of questions in both the question papers has improved. About ten questions were asked based on the state. One question was also focused on Prayagraj
