UPMSP UP Board Class 10, 12 Exam: Complaints regarding fixation of Center for Secondary Education Council’s 2021 high school and intermediate board examination are not being named. Such complaints are being received from most of the districts that proposals have been sent to make girls’ examination centers 10 to 12 kilometers away, while the government has fixed a standard of five kilometers for this. After the district level, now such complaints have also reached the board level. The list of examination centers is scheduled to be released on 22 February.
Seeing the grievances reached at the government level, Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Aradhana Shukla had instructed all the District Magistrates in the past that before sending the final list of examination centers to the Board, all complaints received regarding fixing of centers should be investigated . The government had received complaints that the examination centers had been set against the standards and that the schools which had completed the standards were not made the examination centers. Apart from this, complaints were also received that the examination centers have been allotted more than the holding capacity of the examination centers and the examination centers have been allotted to the candidates at a distance beyond the distance prescribed by the mandate. After this order of the government, when the districts sent the list to the board, complaints also started reaching there.
The board gave time till February 18 to raise objections about the centers. According to sources, the board has received more than 500 objections from all districts. Now the list of examination centers is going to be released on February 22, after these objections have been tested by the Center Assessment Committee constituted at the board level. The objection schools say that the board officials are not ready to alter the list sent from the districts, while most of the objections are about the distance to the examination centers. These schools in rural areas say that the examination center of the students studying in them has been proposed 10 to 12 kilometers away, while there is no means of transportation in their areas. Many schools have even demanded Swakendra for the girl students. He says that his objections were not taken cognizance at the district level.
