Teachers are going to get rid of the complex and corrupt system of nine phases of the last four decades of transfer of teachers in more than 4500 aided secondary schools of the state. Online applications will soon be received from teachers for the first time transfer instead of the old system.
Teachers desirous of transfer to the old system had to find a vacant post in their district of choice. After that, the teacher has to obtain a separate NOC from the Principal and Manager of both schools. Then the DIOS of both the districts and both the divisional joint education directors had to apply to the Additional Director Secondary Office, taking a clearance.
In this process, complaints of corruption also get received step by step. Teachers have been demanding online transfer continuously for the last 4 years. The mandate for online transfer was issued after talks with the government on 17 January 2020 during the strike of the Teachers Union in Lucknow, but due to Corona, it could not be implemented.
On 11 January 2021, after the teachers held the Directorate of Education, it has again gained momentum. Software is being made from NIC after receiving information about vacancies on 31 March 2021 from all the districts of the state. Additional Director Secondary Dr. Mahendra Dev informed that software is being made and applications will be taken for online transfer soon.
They say that there is
arbitrariness and corruption from bottom to top in the system of transfer in the aided secondary schools. The Thakurai faction has been continuously fighting for the demand of online transfer of teachers for the last 4 years. We expect that our teachers will get a huge relief by starting online transfer.
