Haridwar: There are going to be two big baths in Haridwar before the Kumbh. Both these baths will be held in February only. The first is Mauni Amavasya on 11 February and the second is the bathing of Basant Panchami on 16 February. In such a situation, a large number of devotees are expected to come to Haridwar for bathing in the Ganges. But following the central government’s SOP can be a big challenge for the fair administration and the district administration and it is also being seen as a trial.
This time Haridwar Mahakumbh is being held in 11 years instead of 12 years. In order to make Kumbh divine and grand, various types of preparations are being made in Haridwar. Although the preparations have not been completed yet, Kumbh is becoming limited this time due to Corona. At the same time, due to the SOP issued by the Center, the state government is also considering shortening the duration of Kumbh.
Administration test on Mauni Amavasya
But after the Central Government’s SOP is issued to the state government and the fair administration, the big test is going to be held on February 11 on Mauni Amavasya and on February 16 on the bath of Basant Panchami, because even before these baths, people coming to Haridwar are going to the rules of Kovid. Can not be seen following. Devotees are wandering without a mask at Har ki Pauri, railway station, bus station and other places. In such a situation, the trial of the Central Government’s SOP on these two baths is also being considered.
At the same time, after the SOP issued by the central government, there is talk of increasing the checking area on the border area in view of the bath. Haridwar SSP D Senthil Abu Dai says that in the border area of Uttarakhand, checking will be increased in view of these baths.
