Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. (Vita) will introduce “Turmeric Milk” prepared for consumers and this “Turmeric Milk” will be available to consumers in the market by the first week of upcoming November. Similarly, “Desi cow’s ghee” prepared from milk of desi cow by Prasangha (Vita) will also be available to consumers in the first week of January.
Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. organized under the chairmanship of Haryana Cooperative Minister Dr. Banwari Lal. This information was given at a meeting of (Vita) officials. It was informed at the meeting that black pepper portions have also been added to the “turmeric milk” prepared by the federation, which together with turmeric will help in increasing immunity.
Cooperative Minister was informed in the meeting that today Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. (Vita) has received an order for supply of milk from PGIMER, Chandigarh and the consortium will supply 1200 to 1300 liters of milk daily. Similarly, it was informed in the meeting that keeping in view of the players, the federation is also considering preparing protein-rich diet so that the players can be provided with protein-rich diet.
Emphasis on increasing the production of ghee in
Rohtak and Jind Efforts are being made to increase the production of ghee in the milk plants of Rohtak and Jind. In the coming time, increasing the capacity of Jind’s milk plant by installing new machinery and increasing the production of ghee. Similarly, the sale of fruits and vegetables in addition to hafed products as well as other food items has been allowed in Vita’s booths so that more and more everyday items are available to consumers at the same booth.
At the meeting, the Cooperative Minister was informed that the franchise policy of the Federation (Vita) is almost at a final stage and this policy will be made online soon, after which Vita’s products can be sold on its own through grocery and retail outlets online. Will be able to apply to keep and sell Vita products. In the meeting, information was also given to the Minister on online dairy management system and it was informed that through this system, every activity happening in milk plants can be monitored.
In the meeting, the Cooperative Minister instructed the officers that in view of the increasing demand for milk products, more committees should be formed so that consumers can get milk products. He said that Haryana falls in NCR region and keeping this in mind, the Federation (Vita) should expand its scope in NCR more and more. In addition, the confederation (Vita) should increase the sales of its products in the area around Chandigarh and Panchkula.
On this occasion, Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. (Vita) Managing Director Mr. A. Officers from Jind, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Ambala and Ballabgarh milk plants were also present along with Srinivas.
