England’s top order batsman Tom Banton may withdraw from the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. Banton wants to make a place in the England Test team and hence he wants to focus on the domestic cricket of Red Ball. Banton was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team in IPL 2020, but during this time he got a chance to play only two matches. He said that he wants to play cricket instead of sitting on the bench.
