YV Subbareddy said that 502 temples have been constructed in the first phase in SC, ST, BC, and Fishery areas as part of the Hindu Dharma campaign. It has been announced that Rs.3.70 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of internal roads, parking area,s and sewers in the Tirumala Balaji Nagar area. He said that Rs.3.80 crores have been allocated for the modernization of rooms and other development works at Tirumala Sri Padmavathi’s rest home.
The Governing Council of TTD approved the purchase of 12 types of products grown through nature agriculture through AP Markfed in collaboration with the State Farmers Empowerment Corporation. Apart from that, it has given a green signal to undertake 10 types of works at a cost of Rs 7 crore to provide various development works and facilities in Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple which is under construction in Jammu. Sanctioned Rs.3.35 crores for the construction of additional floors in the boy’s hostel building at Swims Hospital in Tirupati. TTD has sanctioned Rs.2.56 crore for the purchase of medicines and Rs.36 lakh for the purchase of surgical equipment for hospitals and dispensaries. 3.75 crore has been allocated for the development works of Sri Tatayagunta Gangamma temple in Tirupati. Approved payment of 2022 Srivari Brahmotsava reward to regular, contract, and outsourcing employees working in TTD. TTD has 7 thousand of regulars, 14 thousand contracts, and outsourcing employees.
