Klopp says Liverpool fans will regard moment's silence before facing Ajax

The Former Liverpool Legend: Casemiro And Martinez Are Good Players, But Not Great Players: Manchester United have returned to their old form after a long spell. United have not lost a game since their humiliating 6-3 loss to Manchester City last month.

After the match with City, United have six wins and two draws in their account.

Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez, the Latin American superstars who joined the team in the last summer transfer, played a crucial role in these successes.

However, not everyone was equally satisfied with the duo’s performance. There are those who praise the stars as well as those who criticize them.

One of them is Liverpool legend Graeme Souness. In an interview with the news agency Talk Sport, he praised Martinez by name but questioned the player’s style of play given his height.

“It is difficult to play at this height. What would it be like to be 5’1ft tall against 5’7ft players in the Premier League? And I don’t think Martinez is a fast player.

I didn’t think he was good with the ball. But he forces others to play and he has that aggressiveness that Argentines have,’ Souness pointed out.

Right after, the legendary Rio Ferdinand has come with an answer to Souness.

He said that he is saying this because he has not seen the game and that Martinez is a very smart player.

“Don’t talk without seeing the game. Must watch the games. Obviously you haven’t noticed Martinez. Because if you talk to someone who knows the game, you can learn about his attributes.

He is good on the ground, bold, and aggressive. His excellence in defending is commendable.

“To say he can’t play well is absurd,” Ferdinand said.

Meanwhile, Graeme Souness also spoke about Casemiro. He said that Casemiro may be a good player but not a great player.

Martinez joined United from Ajax last July. He went on to become one of the best players at the club.

The player who played 12 Premier League matches was also selected as the club’s player of the month in August.

Casemiro has won five European Cups and three La Liga titles at Real Madrid. Casemiro, who was part of the Brazil team that won the Copa America in 2019, is preparing to represent his country in this year’s World Cup.
