BJP released first list of candidates for the Legislative Council elections to be held in Bihar and Karnataka

The Chief Minister Stormed: What Glory Does K Sudhakaran See In Whitewashing The RSS?: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan criticized KPCC president K Sudhakaran’s controversial statements. Pinarayi Vijayan criticized K Sudhakaran as justifying RSS love by leaning on Nehru. Asked what glory K Sudhakaran saw in whitewashing the RSS, Chief Minister Nehru remarked that he was a thoroughly secular leader. (cm binary Vijayan criticism against k Sudhakar)

The Chief Minister criticized K Sudhakaran’s words as a symbol of the decadence of the Congress. KPCC president K. Sudhakaran said that Jawaharlal Nehru had a great mind that was ready to reconcile even with communal fascism. That too on Children’s Day when the country remembers Jawaharlal Nehru. What glory does he see in whitewashing the RSS? The Chief Minister asked.

The Chief Minister’s reply to K Sudhakaran also referred to quotations from Nehru’s letters. Here are the words of the Chief Minister:

Jawaharlal Nehru was a leader who had a completely secular mindset. In a letter to the Chief Ministers on 7 December 1947, he explained the nature of the danger posed by the RSS: ”The R.S.S. An organization in the nature of a private army, it certainly remains strictly Nazi in character.’ In another letter, he cautioned against falling for claims that the RSS is not a political organization.

In a letter to the Chief Ministers on February 5, 1948, shortly after Gandhiji’s assassination:
It is true that the Gandhi assassination conspirators have had little success in trying to smuggle their cells into various government institutions and services. We have to crack down on it and clean up the administration and services.’ Nehru wrote. It is amazing that the person leading the Congress in a state is not even aware of the historical fact that Nehru was the Prime Minister of India when Shyam Prasad Mukherjee was arrested in 1953 for entering Kashmir in opposition to Article 370.

The Congress has always had communalists and RSS partisans of Sudhakaran’s mental state. What great sense of democracy lies dormant in the action of the Congress, which yielded to the pressure of such people and made Shyamaprasad Mukherjee a minister? Comparing Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Dr. Ambedkar not only distorts history, but Dr. Ambedkar is also insulted.

True Congressmen have the responsibility to respond to Sudhakaran’s attempt to equate his actions with Jawaharlal Nehru after saying that he would have joined the BJP if he felt like it and that he had sent someone to protect the RSS branch.

By killing Gandhi, the Hindutvas set the stage for their communal agenda. It was Prime Minister Nehru who banned the RSS then. Only the RSS will be happy if Nehru is portrayed as a leader who betrayed the RSS. They themselves should clarify whether the policy of Congress is to please them.
