As the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the dates for the much-anticipated Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu last Friday evening, ABP News along with C-Voter conducted a poll to know the mood of the voters.
According to data collected from the APP Network-C voter survey, the UPA coalition, which received more than 41 per cent of the vote, is projected to win 154-162 seats. With this, the DMK is expected to seize power for sure this time. And according to the poll, the National Democratic Alliance, including the AIADMK, BJP and other parties, is expected to get 58-66 seats with about 28.6 percent of the vote.
Meanwhile, the MNM is expected to get 2-6 seats, the AMK 1-5 and the other parties 5-9 with 8.3 per cent, 6.9 per cent and 14.8 per cent of the vote, respectively.
