Supporters of both the candidates tried to misbehave with the police who reached the information. Some policemen also sustained minor injuries in stone pelting by supporters. After this, the policemen beat and beat the supporters of the two candidates who were committing the nuisance.

The force, led by the Shahpur police station chief, somehow drove the miscreants from the spot. According to the information received, about 45 percent voting had taken place till the ruckus. After this, supporters of the candidates started accusing that bogus voting was being done in the name of absentee voters. Both sides clashed on seeing each other. The fight started between them. Meanwhile, the force reached the spot from Shahpur police station.
