Bhiwandi: In Bhiwandi , Maharashtra, on Tuesday, a 45-year-old man died shortly after getting the Kovid vaccine installed . So far the cause of the man’s death could not be ascertained. Sukhdev Kirdit, the father of two children, who worked as an ophthalmologist’s driver, went to a hospital in Bhiwandi on Tuesday to get the second dose of the vaccine. Here he was kept in the Observation Room after applying the vaccine.
But after getting the vaccine, Kirdit fainted in the observation room after 15 minutes. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The man took the first dose of the Kovid vaccine as a health worker on 28 January. Doctors say that the cause of his death is not yet known and things will be clear after the post-mortem.

The hospital’s doctor KR Kharat said that ‘he took his first dose in a month and there was no problem at that time. Before this dose, he had a full check-up. We got information that for years he had problems like blood pressure and swelling in the legs. But in the first checkup of today’s dose, everything was normal except BP and oxygen level.
Explain that vaccination has been started against Corona in the country from January 16. In the first phase, lakhs of healthcare workers and frontline workers were vaccinated. Priority was given to health workers in the first phase. The second phase of the vaccination drive has started from 1 March. In this phase, people above 60 years of age and those above 45 who are suffering from serious diseases will be vaccinated.
A total of 33,044 people were vaccinated in Maharashtra on Tuesday. Talking about coronavirus cases, 7,863 new cases were reported in the state on the previous day, after which the total number of infected people increased to 21,69,330. 54 more patients died of the epidemic. With this, the number of dead increased to 52,238.
