The rising corona virus cases in five states of the country have increased India’s tension once again. Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have reported an increase in new cases of corona found daily. The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that the total number of patients in the country is 1,43,127, of which 75.87 per cent are in only two states Maharashtra and Kerala. The number of active patients is 1.27 percent of the total cases of infection.
According to the ministry, the total number of infected people increased to 1,09,77,387 with the arrival of 13,993 new cases by eight o’clock in the morning. There are so many new cases of infection daily after 22 days in the country. Earlier, on January 29, there were 18,855 cases. The death toll due to the epidemic increased to 1,56,212 with 101 more deaths in 24 hours. Of the 101 deaths, 44 are from Maharashtra, 15 from Kerala and eight from Punjab. The ministry said that to prevent the spread of Korana virus infection and to prevent its spread, appropriate preventive measures need to be adopted.
No deaths in 18 states: The ministry said that no deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours due to infection in 18 states and union territories. These include Telangana, Haryana, Jammu Kashmir , Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Assam, Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu.
Correction rate of Corona 97.27%: So far 1,06,78,048 people in the country have recovered from Corona. The national rate of recovery from corona is 97.27 percent, while the corona death rate is 1.42 percent.
Corona examination crosses 21 crores: According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 21,02,61,480 samples have been tested in the country till 19 February. Of these, 7,86,618 samples were tested on Friday.
