Sriraj Singh of Lucknow, who has released the web series ‘Taj Mahal 1989’ and film ‘Traffic’, released on OTT platforms, feels that he has a long way to go in the film world. In his recent statement during an event, the actor said, “Whenever I look back I feel that there is a lot more that I have to do to satisfy myself. But at the same time, I also I understand that as an actor I cannot be satisfied with my work at any level because we always have to find something new and be more creative than before. ”
The talented actor started his career with theater. The actor added, “When I was about to complete my college, I decided to be a part of a theater in the city itself. This love of theater took me to Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium and then I got acquainted with the state theater stalwart. 1996 I started this and I did many prosidiums and street plays with well-known theater personalities like the late Gopal Mishra and Mehraj Alam before moving to Mumbai in search of work. ”
When Anushka Sharma spoke openly about the lip job, she said – I had nothing to hide.
Adding further to this, Sriraj said, “Acting was my world and for me, as an actor, I knew that Mumbai would give me what I was looking for, but it was really the road of danger we had to walk on. After a lot of struggle, I got my first job with the first DD1, Kashmaksh Zindagi Ki. And since then I have done more than 1,000 episodes and many films for many different shows. ”
Talking about his Lucknow connection, he said, “I love this city because it takes me back to those beautiful days with my theater friends and of course my family and then I miss the winters, So keep coming back to the city to enjoy the season with kulhadi tea. I have to come back to UP to shoot the film in Prayagraj. With films like ‘Chinar Dastan-e-Ishq’, social activist Daya Bhai’s biopic ‘Daya Bhai’, Sriraj is now waiting for the release of his new films ‘Subway’ and ‘Prematur’.
