Indian shooter Manu Bhakar faced misbehavior at Delhi Airport on Friday. Airport authorities stopped him from boarding a flight to Bhopal. After which, he requested Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju and Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for help in the case via Twitter. Manu said that, I was going to practice at Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy. During this time I also had my gun, due to which the officers did not allow me to board the flight and also treated me like criminals. After this, Manu finally boarded the flight after the intervention of Kiren Rijiju in this case. He also thanked Rijiju for this.
Held despite valid documents and DGCA permit
Manu Bhaker, who has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, wrote after tweeting with her at the Delhi airport, “I am not being allowed to board my flight number AI 437 at Indira Gandhi Airport, Delhi, with I am also demanding Rs 10,200.
