Shreyas Iyer said - Why Team India had played three spinners in the first T20

Indian young batsman Shreyas Iyer has confirmed his place in Team India in a very short time. His performance in the recently concluded T20 series against England was also excellent. Iyer may have batted at number five and six in the T20 series against England, but he has confirmed his position at number four in the ODI team. Looking at Iyer’s talent and his current form, England’s county team Lancashire has tied up with him. Iyer will now take part in England’s domestic ODI tournament Royal London Cup.

Actually, Lancashire Cricket Club has tied up with Shreyas Iyer for the Royal London Cup. Iyer will join the club on 15 July. Iyer, who has played 21 ODIs and 29 T20 Internationals for India so far, will be the sixth cricketer from India to play for the Lancashire club. Prior to Iyer, Farooq Engineer of India, VVS Laxman, Saurabh Ganguly, Dinesh Mongia and Murali Karthik have also played for the Lancashire Cricket Club.

Iyer excited about playing county cricket

Aiyar was quoted on the county’s official website as saying, “Lancashire is a big name in English cricket and has a long association with India. I take forward the legacy of great players like Farooq Engineer, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman Feeling honored for that. ”

Let us know that the start of the Royal London Cup will start on 22 July. At the same time, its final match will be played on August 19. In the tournament, Lancashire will play their first match against Sussex at home on 20 July.
