Shaheen Made History Even When Pakistan Lost His Foot: Proving Again That He’s No Slouch: Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi created history in the Pakistan-South Africa match held on the World Cup’s last day. The record-breaking record came after the wicket in the match against the Proteas.
Shaheen holds the record of becoming the youngest player to take 50 wickets in international T20 matches. Shaheen achieved this feat at the age of 22 years and 211 days.

But Shaheen is not the youngest player to take 50 wickets in T20Is. That record is still held by Afghan superstar Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan took 50 wickets in T20Is when he was just 19 years and 256 days old.
Shaheen did not perform so well in the current T20 World Cup. Shaheen, who could not take a single wicket against India and Zimbabwe, took his first wicket in this World Cup against the Netherlands.
But Shaheen made a comeback by performing well in the match against South Africa. Shaheen was instrumental in helping Pakistan beat the all-conquering South Africa.
