Satya Nadella completed Electrical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology in 1988 after his attempt to get a seat at IIT failed. While working on one side, he completed his MBA on the other side.
Within a year, he was promoted to corporate vice president of Microsoft Business Solutions. After six years, in 2007, he became the senior vice president of Microsoft Online Services. At the same time, he was in charge of Microsoft Office, Xbox Live, and Bing. Oversaw Azure Cloud, Windows Server, and Azure SQL departments in 2011.
Under the leadership of Satya Nadella, the revenue of these divisions reached 3.7 billion within two years. In 2014, he took the reins as the CEO of Microsoft and became known worldwide.
