Satendra Jain: Delhi Health Minister Taking ‘Protection Money’ In Jail? Sensational Allegations Of Fellow Prisoners: Satendra Jain protection money: An inmate claimed that Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has to be given ‘protection money’ to escape harassment in Tihar Jail. The person has been in jail for fraud since 2017.
An inmate has claimed that Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has to pay ‘protection money to escape harassment in Tihar Jail. According to sources, the inmate named Sukesh Chandrasekhar wrote a letter about this and complained to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. The letter went viral on social media and created a lot of excitement in political circles. Based on this allegation, the BJP called the AAP party a ‘party of frauds’. However, Arvind Kejriwal completely rejected this claim on behalf of the UP party on Tuesday.
BJP alleges that the jailed Sukesh Chandrasekhar has paid a total of 60 crore bribe to the Aam Aadmi Party. Out of this, Rs 50 crore has been given to get a Rajya Sabha nomination. On this day, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said, ‘There has been fraud in the house of fraudsters. Sukesh Chandrasekhar is a thug, and the thugs are Aam Aadmi Party and Satyendra Jain.’
According to sources, in a letter to VK Saxena, Sukesh claimed that ever since Satyendra Jain arrived in Tihar Jail, he has been subjected to incessant harassment and threats. He knew Satyendra Jain since 2015. Since then he has donated more than 50 crore rupees to the AAP fund. In return, he was promised an important party post in South Delhi. A Rajya Sabha nomination was also promised. In 2017, Sukesh Chandrasekhar was jailed in Tihar Jail after being found guilty of extorting money from several high-profile personalities. However, he was met in jail by then Delhi Prisons Minister Satyendra Jain.
Then in 2019, Satyendra Jain met again in prison. Since then he has been pressured to give protection money. To stay safe in jail, he was asked to pay Rs 2 crore per month. DG (Prisoners) Sandeep Goel was asked to pay Rs.1.5 crore separately. Sukesh alleged that 10 crore rupees were taken from him in 2-3 months.
Since May this year, Satyendra Jain has also been lodged in the same jail in a fund fraud case. Since then, Sukesh claimed that he was being threatened using the DG (Kara). During an investigation last month, no action was taken even after the details of the money he gave were disclosed to investigators.
On this day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that all these allegations are false. His counterclaim is that the BJP is under pressure due to the Morbi bridge accident ahead of the Gujarat elections. People are more and more leaning towards the up party. So BJP is raising this ‘sensational and fabricated’ allegation to divert attention from the accident. He said, “They are trying to divert people’s attention from Morbi. They are scared before the Gujarat elections. So far they did not have to do anything during the election. Because there is tension between BJP and Congress. Now they have come under pressure. They are so desperate that they are taking the help of fraudsters to spread fake news against Satyendra Jain. Manish Sisodia is also trying to be implicated in the liquor case.”
