Sangbad Pratidin: PM Modi Says Extensive Inquiry Into Morbi Tragedy Need Of Hour: 141 people died due to Morbi Bridge Collapse in Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has claimed that he has never experienced so much pain in his life. Two days after the incident, he went to visit the accident site on Tuesday. Along with that, the Prime Minister also met the accident victims in the government hospital. Later he held a high-level meeting on this. There, the Prime Minister said that a detailed investigation of this incident is necessary.
According to reports, Modi said in the meeting, “It is the need of the hour to identify all the aspects related to the Morbi Bridge accident. This requires a comprehensive investigation.” He also said to take quick action based on the information received. State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi were present in the meeting apart from Modi.
Modi went to the accident site along with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Then he went to the hospital from there. The Prime Minister met the injured there. But before Modi’s visit, the name of the agency tasked with renovating the British-era bridge was covered in white plastic. Is it done to hide the name of the company Oreva Group? The debate started by raising this question. The opposition called it ‘event management’ ahead of Modi’s visit. Meanwhile, on the night before Modi’s visit, Gujarat’s government hospital was practically ‘dressed up. The hospital was prepared at night. As soon as the word of this incident spread, the opposition raised a storm of criticism. Allegedly, people who came to look for their missing relatives also had to wait because of this.
