After defeating East Bengal 3-1 in the first game, Kerala Blasters were in despair after losing 3 matches in a row.
Last season, Kerala Blasters’ favorite player Sahal Abdul Samad played a crucial role in their run to the finals.
With his speed and dribbling, the star was to give strength that Blasters did not have before.

Before the start of this season, Blasters’ fans and coach Ivan Vukomanovic had high hopes for Sahal.
But it was not possible to make progress as expected. The Blasters have lost three of their four matches this season.
After three consecutive defeats, coach Ivan made major changes in the team. With that, Sahal was not able to perform well in the last matches and was on the bench.

But Sahal, who came on as a substitute in the second half, made a great comeback. Coach Sahal was brought on the field in the 65th minute. Sahal, who entered the field, scored two goals and brought out his excellence.
The second goal of the Yellow Army was scored exactly in the 20th minute. In injury time, the player shook the net of North East United again.

Blasters returned to winning ways after consecutive losses in the last three matches. With this win, Sahl Abdul Samad has regained his confidence with the Blasters.
Sahal also tried to break Sandesh Jinkan’s record with the match held yesterday. Sahali has now become the player who has played the most matches for the Blasters. This record was held by Sandesh Jingan.
The Blasters are currently seventh in the table with six points from five matches. Kerala Blasters’ next match is on November 13. Goa is the opponent of the Blasters in the match to be held in Kochi.
