Chairman of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Prof. DP Jaroli has urged the government to allow the Teacher Eligibility Test (REAT) 2021 to be held on its due date and no change should be made in this date. All the preparations of the board for the examination are going on. Prof. Jajroli said in a conversation with journalists on completion of his one-year term in Ajmer on Wednesday that Lord Mahavir is a statue of renunciation, so everyone should be allowed to take the exam on 25 April 2021 keeping in mind the interest of the unemployed.
He said that we wish that the writ test should be done on the due date, for this, we wrote a letter to the government earlier and today we are going to write a letter again. He also appealed to the candidates on behalf of the board that there would be no change in the date of the reet examination. He was busy preparing for the exam. He informed that the REIT exam will be held in two shifts for which about three thousand examination centers will be established. Also, 16 lakh 40 thousand candidates will appear in it.
Pro. Jaroli expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the completion of one year of his tenure and said that he was working in the board as per his aspirations. During the Corona period, several dimensions have been established, turning the disaster into an opportunity, in which the biggest task was to conduct the examination and declare the results successfully. He termed the world record for conducting 20 lakh examinations in the Corona period in the year 2020 and claimed that such a large number of students were not conducted the examination anywhere.
He said that apart from this, many innovations were made, including issuing school affiliation certificates through the portal, making documents available to the candidates through speed post after online application at home, as well as keeping records of more than one crore students in a digital locker. . Regarding the achievements of the board, he said that the courses of students under mental stress since the Corona period were cut by 40 percent in 2020-21, changing the format of the question paper for the upcoming examination, more options will be given, formation of additional examination sub-centers. Important tasks like compassionate appointment, evaluation online were done. In addition to the financial assistance to the accident employees, uncontested elections of the Board Employees Union were conducted for the first time.
Pro. Discussing about future plans, Jaroli said that a Vidyarthi Seva Kendra and a collection center is going to be set up in Jaipur Jodhpur for which Rs 49 lakh has been released. The proposal for the re-evaluation of the year 2021 main examination is also under consideration. At the same time, the Board has proposed to introduce a program of teachers for teachers.
