On the Raxaul Bihar border adjoining Nepal border, SSB has got a big success today. SSB jawans have seized 800 grams of opium from women smugglers, the cost of which is being reported as around Rs 40 lakh. The accused woman is being questioned.
The 47th battalion of SSB was informed that a large amount of women are preparing to cross the Raxaul border with opium. After this information, the SSB jawans who were alerted tightened the security cordon on the border.
Indian woman arrested
SSB jawans arrested an Indian woman while checking from here . During investigation, opium worth Rs 40 lakh has been recovered from this woman. The accused woman is being questioned.
The woman had 800 grams of opium
SSB officer Manoj Sharma said that the woman was arrested near Raxaul Railway Dhala. The woman was carrying 800 grams of opium concealed in polythene . The accused woman has been handed over to the police station for further action. The team who arrested the woman included SI Vandana Devi, constable Aarti Devi, Nazrina Bano along with SSB Inspector Manoj Sharma.
