Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait had said recently that even if our crops are destroyed, we will continue the movement. After his statement, now a farmer of Bijnor has ruined his crop. For the purpose of registering a protest against three new agricultural laws made by the central government, the farmer ruined his wheat crop standing in 6 bighas. A video is going viral in which Sohit Ahlawat of Kulchana village of Chandpur tehsil of Bijnor is seen driving a tractor on his crop. Recently, during a Kisan Mahapanchayat, the leader of the Indian Farmers Union, Rakesh Tikait, appealed to the farmers to give importance to the movement. If they have to waste their crop for this, do it.

Rakesh Tikait’s response to the video of crop wasting has now come out. Rakesh Tikait, while addressing the farmers at UP Gate, said, ‘The government has brought us into a situation where farmers have to waste their crops. This is not a good situation. I am personally very sad to see this video. But that was not my point of ruining a season’s crop. This does not make sense to do harm. Sohil Ahlawat, the farmer who destroyed the crop, said, “When these unnecessary laws are implemented, the farmers will not get any guarantee of the price of their crops.”

Sohit Ahlwat said that after the implementation of new agricultural laws, farmers will not get the guarantee and security of their crop payment. In such a situation, when we have to be oppressed, then why grow crops. We have ruined the crop to send a message to the government from Bijnor. Sohith Ahlawat’s father Sanjeev Kumar has 40 bigha farming. In the video that is going viral, Sanjeev Kumar is seen saying, ‘You can see my standing crop of wheat. I’m ruining it in front of everyone. Doing so to support the peasant movement . I do not want these black laws to be enforced. ‘
