Review of job replacement four months ago..
Prime Minister Modi, who recently promised to create 10 lakh jobs across the country, is taking fast steps in that direction. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the human resources in all ministries and departments on the same topic in June itself. They are moving ahead with a plan to create 10 lakh jobs in a few months. Along with this, he ordered the government to work in a mission manner towards creating 10 lakh jobs in the next year and a half.
Last year, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, while replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha, said that as on March 1, 2020, 8.72 lakh posts were vacant in central government departments. This number is expected to be around 10 lakhs. PM took this initiative to recruit them. Jitendra Singh said that there are a total of 40 lakh 4 thousand posts in all the departments of the central government, out of which about 31 lakh 32 thousand employees have been recruited. That means 8.72 lakh posts have to be filled.
