PM Modi: First Vande Bharat Train Laid In South, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Started By Waving The Flag: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the fifth Vande Bharat train on the Mysore-Chennai route. Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Karnataka, inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express trains at KSR Bangalore Railway Station.
PM Modi flags off Vande Bharat Express
The first Vande Bharat Express train is available for South India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the fifth Vande Bharat train on the Mysore-Chennai route. Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Karnataka, inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express trains at KSR Bangalore Railway Station. The Vande Bharat train running between Mysore and Chennai is the first in South India. This is the fifth Vande Bharat Express train in the country and the first in South India. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi also flagged off the Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan train. It is known that Indian Railways runs Vande Bharat Express trains with prestige. After paying floral tributes to the statues of Sadhukavi Kanak Das and Maharshi Valmiki at the Vidhana Soudha complex, PM Modi began his tour of southern states. After this, Prime Minister Modi went to Krantivir Sangoli Rayanna (KSR) railway station and flagged off the Mysore-Chennai Vande Bharat train.
Prime Minister Modi arrived at the HAL airport in Bengaluru in the morning. Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, several cabinet members, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP Parliamentary Board member B. L. Yeddyurappa, party MLAs, and officials welcomed him.

Vande Bharat train runs on Chennai-Mysore route every day except Wednesday. There is a total of 16 coaches on this Vande Bharat Express train. It has 14 chair cars and 2 executive chair cars. AC chair car fare from Chennai to Mysore is Rs.1200 and the executive chair car fare is Rs.2295. AC chair car fare from Mysore to Chennai is Rs.1365 and executive chair car fare is Rs.2485.

International Airport Terminal-2 will be opened
After that, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Terminal-2 of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, built at a cost of Rs.5 thousand crores. With its inauguration, the passenger capacity of the airport is expected to increase to five-six crore annually. Currently, it is 2.5 crores annually.
A 108 feet tall bronze statue will be unveiled
From here, Modi will reach the nearby stage and unveil the 108 feet tall bronze statue of Nada Prabhu Kempegowda. After unveiling the statue, the Prime Minister will attend a huge public gathering. Later he will go to Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister will attend the 36th convocation of Gandhigram Rural Institute in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. In view of Prime Minister Modi’s visit, tight security arrangements have been made in the city and at venues.
The Prime Minister arrived in Bengaluru on the first day of his two-day tour of four states in South India. Prime Minister Modi will visit Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka during his visit. Prime Minister during his visit Rs. Schemes worth more than 25000 crores will be launched. Prime Minister Modi is trying to strengthen the base of the Bharatiya Janata Party in South India through this visit.
