Thousands of farmers’ agitation has been going on for more than two months on various boundaries of Delhi against the agricultural laws of the Central Government. Meanwhile, BJP vice-president and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh termed the movement a conspiracy by the Congress and the Left parties. Raman Singh made this statement after an important meeting of BJP convened to formulate a strategy on the forthcoming state assembly elections and discuss the peasant movement .

BJP national vice-president Raman Singh said, “It (farmers movement) is politically influenced. The farmers of this country are happy with the agricultural laws. Agricultural laws have been welcomed in various parts of the country. I think there is a conspiracy by the Congress and the Left behind the continuation of the movement. “It may be known that several rounds of talks have been held between the leaders of the farmers’ organizations and the Union ministers, but no solution was reached.

While the farmer leaders are demanding the law to be enacted on the MSP, canceling the laws in favor of the industrialists, the government is ready to make some amendments. Raman Singh further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was appreciated in the BJP’s proposal to improve the agriculture sector, increase the income of farmers. He said that the BJP passed a resolution to effectively deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic and thanked the Prime Minister.

At the same time, the upcoming assembly elections were also discussed in the BJP meeting held in Delhi. Raman Singh said, “The issue of elections in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry was discussed in the meeting. The officials expressed confidence that the BJP would win the election in West Bengal. We are going to win elections in Assam as well. ”

Earlier, BJP general secretary Arun Singh had said that during the day-long meeting, assembly elections in five states including Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, self-reliant India campaign and three agricultural laws will also be discussed. “The proposals are currently being discussed in the meeting and after the meeting the party’s upcoming programs will be announced,” he said. This is the first meeting of national officials during the Corona epidemic in which the leaders were directly involved.

PM Modi addressed the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lit the lamp and started the meeting and also addressed it later. The meeting paid tribute to those killed during the Kovid-19 epidemic and a condolence resolution was also passed in this regard. PM Modi spoke to the national officials and addressed their concerns. Apart from this, party president JP Nadda also addressed the meeting. All the national officials of the BJP, the presidents of the states, in-charge and co-incharge of the states and the state minister of state were also attended the meeting.
