Shah's visit to strengthen Bengal's hold, many TMC leaders may join BJP

Not A Single Person In Punjab Will Vote For Aam Aadmi Anymore: Congress Can Challenge BJP- Ghulam Nabi Azad: Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that only Congress can defend the BJP. Months after resigning from the party, Ghulam Nabi Azad has praised the Congress.

Ghulam Nabi Azad’s statement comes in the context of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections. He also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party. Ghulam Nabi Azad said that AAP is only a party in Delhi.

In an interview to ANI, Ghulam Nabi Azad spoke about the Congress and the upcoming state elections.

Although I have left the party, I am not against the secular stance of Congress. I had to go out only because of the weakness in the party system.

It is my wish that Congress should make good progress in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. AAP is not capable of that,’ says Ghulam Nabi Azad.

He said that Congress is a party that includes Hindus, Muslims, and farmers and Aam Aadmi Party cannot do anything in these states.

He added that the people of Punjab will never vote for him again. ‘Aam Aadmi is only a party in the Union Territory of Delhi. They will never see good governance in Punjab. Only Congress can challenge BJP in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Because Congress has a very inclusive policy,’ says Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also said the other day that the Congress will win the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections.

Aam Aadmi Party is only creating a ruckus in the state with advertisements. They have no support downstairs. Rahul Gandhi also said that there is a strong anti-incumbency sentiment against the BJP government in the state.

“Congress will contest the Gujarat elections with excellence. Aam Aadmi Party is only at the top. Not downstairs. “Congress is a strong party in Gujarat,” said Rahul.

At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal is campaigning hard with his winning strategy to capture Gujarat. Kejriwal has highlighted Gujarat’s famous journalist Isudan Gadvi to lead Gujarat.

Gavi was selected through voting as part of the ‘Choose Your CM’ campaign conducted to find the chief ministerial candidate from the party. Kejriwal said that 73% of the 16 lakh people who participated in the poll suggested Gadvi’s name.
