Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Friday that the country’s national education policy is focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and skill development. With this, India will emerge as the knowledge capital of the world.
He said that under this policy, students will move more creatively and actively in the field in which they study.
Goyal said that the Indian education system has to achieve such a level in which students from developed countries also come to study in other institutions besides IITs and IIMs in India.
Goyal, while addressing a webinar organized by FICCI here, said, “Under the National Education Policy, the focus is on innovation, entrepreneurship, skill development and the urge to expand knowledge along with education, this kind of thinking and this But with the emphasis on the new policy, India will become the learning capital of the world.
