A minor driver driving a car has been arrested by the police in the death of two children in a gruesome road accident on Monday night in Delhi’s Model Town area.
According to the information, three siblings and one of their family friends were hit by an unknown car while crossing the road near Gurdwara Nanak Pyau on GT Road on Monday night in Delhi’s Model Town area. Two girls were killed in the incident, while their brother and 55-year-old man were injured.
Jaspal, the father of the deceased girls, said that if the accused is a minor, then why was he driving? My daughters died because of that. If he is 17 years old, it does not mean that he should not be punished.

Jaspal said that God gave me 3 children, out of which we have lost two and the condition of my son is still critical. My whole family was with me, my children had just gone across the road and it was a painful accident. If I had stopped them, they would have been with me today. He said that the car was too fast.
According to the police, Jaspal Singh, his wife, three children and his friend Milap Singh were going to a friend’s house in a car. On the way, they stopped at the CNG station opposite the Gurudwara Nanak Pyau. He told that Milap Singh got down from the car and along with three children of Jaspal Singh, crossed over to GT Road, when the accident happened.
Police said that a case has been registered in the relevant sections of the IPC in this matter and investigation is on. Along with this, police are watching CCTV footage of the surrounding areas to ascertain the sequence of the accident.
