A complete lockdown has been announced from March 26 to April 4 in Maharashtra’s Beed district. Apart from Nagpur, Mumbai and Pune, a large number of cases of corona were also found in Beed district. Earlier in Nagpur also the administration had completed lockdown from 15 to 21 March. Night curfew is also applicable in many districts of Maharashtra. All marriage halls, hotels and restaurants will remain closed during the 10-day lockdown. Apart from this, all schools and colleges have also been ordered to be closed.

Orders have also been issued to keep private offices closed and instructions have been given to the employees to get the work from home as far as possible. However, shops selling essential commodities like milk, medicine, vegetables and ration will remain open during this period. Corona continues to wreak havoc in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, more than 28,000 new cases were reported in the state. In addition, 132 people died. In the state, the number of deaths from Corona has now reached 53,589.

Restrictions like night curfew are applicable in many states from Maharashtra to Punjab

Restrictions have been imposed in all the districts of the state including Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad. On Tuesday, the BMC had issued an order regarding Holi, saying that celebrating the festival would not be allowed in public places. Let us tell you that in addition to Maharashtra, night curfew has been imposed in 4 cities of Gujarat, while many cities of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are also undergoing sanctions. The government has announced night curfew in 12 districts of Punjab. Apart from this, it has been decided to stop vehicles for one hour a day.
