The Government of Uttarakhand has given another support to the tourism sector to recover from Corona. The government has decided to give a gift of one thousand rupees to the employees associated with the tourism sector before Diwali. This money will directly reach the beneficiaries account through DBTL. The tourism sector was also badly affected due to the Corona epidemic along with all the industries. In Uttarakhand, after the lockdown implemented after March 22, the tourism business was completely stalled by August.
The tourism sector started recovering slightly in September after Unlock Five. The situation is getting better in October. People associated with this sector are expected to get the business fully back on track during the festival season. In order to add a little more enthusiasm to this atmosphere of hope, the government decided to give a assistance of Rs 1000 each to the tourism staff in the cabinet held on Wednesday. The scope of this help will provide relief to the people associated with hotels, restaurants, guides, rafting as well as professionals associated with the tourism-travel sector.
Those working in small dhabas with large institutions will also come under its purview. Secretary Tourism Dilip Javalkar informed that the DM of all the districts has made the list of beneficiaries of this scheme. The tourism department is providing the budget to the district administration according to this list. With this, the district administration will help one thousand rupees directly to the beneficiaries account.
Fee waiver scope widened, camps cleared,
Ganges River Rifting Rotation Committee Tehri Garhwal Chairman Dinesh Bhatt said that with this help, the tourism department should also waive five years of fees. Beach camps along the banks of the Ganges should also be approved. The government has not been taking a decision on camping for a long time. Due to this, the businessmen associated with it are suffering big losses. Only by approving camping can the business rapidly return to the old tone.

Association President Sandeep Sahni demanded the government to increase the scope of concessions. He said that it would be better to pay 50 percent of salary from ESI or PF fund. He sought to waive bar license fees for the entire year. Loan interest of banks should also be postponed.
