Karnataka Police Constable Recruitment: Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Saturday that 16000 policemen will be recruited in the state during the next three years.
During the inauguration of the new police housing complex here, Mr. Bommai said that six thousand vacancies have already been filled this year and 16 thousand vacancies will be filled for the next three years which will further strengthen the police force. Apart from this, recruitment will be done in a transparent manner.
He said on the conclusion of the ‘Dark Web’ case that the police department has been able to get success about the international drug mafia in the state and is the first in the country.
He said that four FSL state of the art investigation centers in Belagavi, Mysuru, Mangaluru and Kalaburagi would be launched and would help in detecting cyber crime cases. He also directed the officials to pay serious attention to those involved in communal violence.
