Team India ICC Men's T20 World Cup Squad 2022 Announced

K.L. Rahul: I Had A Definite Plan Of What To Do If That Happens, Now I Can Sleep Peacefully: Opener K.L. had a good performance for India the other day. Rahul took it out. Rahul, who has been criticized for not being in form for a long time, scored a half-century with 50 runs in 32 balls and played a crucial role in India’s victory.

Rahul was severely criticized by the fans who could not score good runs in any of the T20 World Cups so far. These criticisms also pointed out the star’s performance in the earlier series and tournaments.

Allegations were leveled against the selectors and the BCCI for including the player in the World Cup squad. The half-century in the match against Bangladesh has reduced these criticisms.

The words spoken by the player after the match make it clear that this performance has also been a great relief for Rahul. Rahul said that now he can sleep peacefully.

“All of us have been waiting for this World Cup for the past year. Whether I played well or not, I was always careful to stay balanced. The team had given me a role. If I can do that, I can sleep peacefully.

This was a very important match. Everyone wanted to do their best. Today was my chance. Different players perform crucially in each match.

We have made proper preparations on how to deal with crisis situations. It was decided that the plan should be implemented when the time comes,’ said Rahul.

At the same time, it was an exciting match that took place in Adelaide yesterday. Bangladesh won the toss and sent India into bat. India has already lost captain Rohit Sharma in KL. A good score was built on the strength of Rahul and former captain Virat Kohli’s innings.

Virat scored an unbeaten 64 from 44 balls and Rahul shone with 50 runs from 32 balls. Suryakumar Yadav also provided good support with 30 runs from 16 balls.

India ended the innings at 184 for six in the stipulated over due to the brilliant innings of the trio.

Batting in reply, Bangladesh got off to a dream start. A half-century from opener Liton Das led the Bengal Tigers to the fore when the rain came and halted the match.

After the rain, the target was revised to 151 in 16 overs. But soon after Liton Das got out, Bangladesh’s victory was also going away.
After the win against Bangladesh, India also managed to top the group standings.

India’s next match is on November 6. Zimbabwe will be the opponent in the match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
