New Delhi: Kisan agitation continues. Meanwhile, the United Kisan Morcha has announced that on February 6, the countrywide block will be jammed. Bharatiya Kisan Union (R) leader Balbir Singh said in a press conference that we will block the road from 12 noon to 3 pm on February 6. He said that we will jam on internet ban on protest sites, farmers being ignored in the budget and other issues.
Farmer leaders alleged that farmers have been ‘ignored’ in the Union Budget 2021-22, and that water and electricity supplies at their protest sites have been shut down.
Please tell that under the leadership of United Kisan Morcha, the movement of farmers on the borders of Delhi has been going on for more than two months. The agitating farmers are demanding withdrawal of three new agricultural laws. At the same time, the government is ready to amend all the three laws but has not said about the withdrawal. There have been 11 rounds of meetings between the government and farmer organizations.
In an all-party meeting on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the proposal given by his government to the farmers protesting against the agricultural laws is “still intact” and there is only a phone call distance in the conversation.
United Kisan Morcha took out a tractor rally on Republic Day. During this time violence took place in many places in the national capital. During this, around four hundred policemen were injured. Some of the protesters had hoisted a religious flag on the ramparts of the Red Fort.
In this case, Delhi Police has registered a case against prominent farmer leaders. However, the United Kisan Morcha has distanced itself from the incident of violence.
