Ivan Vukomanovic: Have No Intention Of Changing The Game, Blasters Just Need To Play Like This And Win: In the last day’s ISL match, Kerala Blasters suffered a heavy defeat against ATK Mohun Bagan. Blasters did not expect such a big defeat in the match which was held at their home ground, Kalinga Stadium. Blasters were humbled by the flaws in the defense.

 

Now the discussion is about the standard attack style shown by Team Blasters in the match. In the encounter with ATK Mohun Bagan, it was criticized that the Yellow Army showed too much enthusiasm and was the reason for the defeat.

Blasters brought out a very intense attacking style. All the players except the center back tried to attack.

This style is believed to be the cause of the Blasters’ defeat.

But coach Ivan Vukomanovic said that there is no change in the attacking style. Ivan explained this in a press conference ahead of the match against Odisha.

He added that he had planned and went to an intense attack, followed the method of getting the winning goal through high-pressing by playing more and equalizing, and in the meantime, there were individual mistakes that were humble.

Ivan said that they like to see the Blasters play an attacking style and the team is enjoying playing this style during the training sessions.

Actually playing this style has taken the Blasters out of their comfort zone, but Evan said it is essential if the team is to progress and that it is necessary to continue this style, not only for the personal development of each player but also the team.

Ivan Vukomanovic added that wherever the match is, it is played for Blasters’ fans and every team wants to play Blasters because of the team’s popularity.
