Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam Movie Review | Allari Naresh, Anandhi | Telugu Movie: ‘Allari’ Naresh, who received critical acclaim with last year’s ‘Naandi’, now focuses on meaningful films. While ‘It Maredumilli Prajanikam’, which was part of it, was released on Friday, the movie ‘Ugram’ was on the sets. A.R. Let’s see how ‘Itlu Maredumilli Prajanikam’ was produced by Rajesh Dandu under the direction of Mohan.

Sripada Srinivas (Naresh) is a Telugu teacher. As part of election duty, he goes to the tribal house in Maredumilli. The people there have been boycotting the elections for several years because of the pain that the rulers are not fulfilling their basic needs. Srinivas works hard to convince them and ensure that 100% voting takes place in the tribal villages there. How did he convince the terrified villagers to ‘vote a thousand’? What did he do for the betterment of those villages that do not have minimum facilities? How did he face the conspiracies and machinations of the government officials in that order? That is the rest of the story.

Our country has completed 75 years of independence. Recently, Amrutsavam was also celebrated grandly. But the people in the tribal villages are still facing many difficulties. Especially education and medicine are not available to them. Even leaders who make promises during elections, after winning, ignore the lower classes. Elections come again and again… Leaders make promises… Again tribals believe in them and are deceived! This film is about how a Telugu teacher put a full stop to this thread. Not only the political leaders but also the government officials are responsible for this negligence, Director A.R. Mohan believed. He showed the same thing on the screen. He said that the welfare of the people should be taken care of by the public representatives as well as the district officials and for that they should work with sincerity.

Although the first half of the movie is simple… the real story started in the second half. The manner in which all the villagers along with a school teacher came together to bend the necks of the officials is astonishing. But… the director failed to make this story interesting. The movie graph goes up and down like that. At the time when the story was supposed to reach its climax, it was stretched and made boring. He said how valuable the right to vote is, that it has its value at a particular time. He showed how the officials who neglected whether it was two or three-fold votes behaved when those votes were the most important for victory. He gave the message that the status of government officials should be used for the good of man. Moreover, it also has a song along with words that express the greatness of the Telugu language.

Naresh did full justice to his role as a Telugu teacher and election officer. ‘Vennela’ Kishore in his hunky-dory role has flowers of laughter. Anandi was pleased as a tribal girl. As a broker, Raghubabu cultivated comedy in his own style. Other lead roles were played by Sritej, Kumanan, Sampath Raj, Praveen, Ravi Prakash, Naga Mahesh, and others. Abburi Ravi wrote thought-provoking words. Not only that… he even wrote a song and sang it! Sreedharan Pakala’s background music is impressive. C.G. The work is poor. Although the second half is interesting compared to the first half… the climax drags on and tests the audience’s patience. If the director-producers had made this movie with good intentions, if they had made it more interesting, it would have reached more people.
