The players will be auctioned for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on 18 February (IPL 2021 Auction Date). This year, 1097 players had registered for the IPL 2021 auction, which included 814 Indians and 283 foreign players. But only 292 players got a chance to participate in this auction. This year all eight teams (IPL Teams) have a total of 61 slots vacant. This means that out of 292 auctions, only 61 players will get lucky. All eyes on the auction may be on former Australia captain Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell as they were released before the auction. There are total 10 players who have kept their base price (IPL Auction Base Price) for the auction at Rs 2 crore.
