Innova Hycross Bookings Start In India At Rs 50,000, Features Seen?

The 2023 Toyota Innova Hycross has been unveiled in India. The car will be officially launched in India in the middle of January. This new generation model is based on monocoque chassis. Has an FWD layout. Bookings for this car started in India on Friday, November 25. That booking will cost only Rs 50,000. Customers will be able to choose from two petrol versions (G and GX) and three petrol-hybrid versions including VX, ZX, and ZX (O). They will be available across even-seat and eight-seat configurations.

Toyota is confirming the powering aspect of the Innova Hicross, a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates 172bhp and 187Nm of torque. This engine is also mated to a mild-hybrid motor, which produces an additional 111bhp and 206Nm of torque. Transmission options include CVT and E-CVT units. The company claims that the model sprints from 0-100kmph in 9.5 seconds. Besides, the mileage is 21.1kmpl, the company said.

Toyota claims that the Innova Hicross can deliver a range of 1097 km on a full tank to keep the car fuel efficient. In terms of dimensions, this MPV measures 4,755 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,795 mm in height. On the other hand, the wheelbase of this car is 2,850 mm.

In terms of design, the 2023 Toyota Innova Hicross is all-new, with a chrome underline on the fascia, sweptback LED headlamps, a new front bumper with indicators, triangular inserts at the corners, and a new grille with a sleek air dam. Also, there are integrated LED fog lights.

The car gets hybrid badging on the front doors and new 18-inch alloy wheels. The car also benefits from blacked-out B and C-pillars and side profiles from the body cladding. The rear of the car features wraparound two-piece LED tail lights, an integrated spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, a new rear bumper with integrated reflectors, and a tailgate-mounted number plate recess. The model is available in seven colors – Super White, Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Avantgarde Bronze Metallic, and another new color called Blackish Ezeha Gloss Flake.

On the interior front, the new Toyota Innova Hicross has a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, a nine-speaker JBL-sourced music system, etc.

Dual-tone black and brown theme, digital controls for AC, a new steering wheel, a new instrument cluster with colored MID, cruise control, an electronic parking brake, ambient lighting, ADAS (Toyota Safety Sense), Toyota i-Connect (connected car technology), captain seats for the second row, roof-mounted AC vents, reclining second-row seats, two screens for the second-row passengers, a powered tailgate and six airbags.
