Indian Railways has announced to run 196 pairs i.e. 392 special trains in view of the upcoming festive season in October. These will be run under the name of festival special trains.
In view of increasing number of passengers in trains during festivals, Railways has approved to run festival special trains in all zones (Zonal Railways). This will give additional comfort to the passengers and relief from congestion.
According to the information received by the railway, festival special trains will be operated from October 20 to November 30. Indian Railways has allowed all railway zones to operate these festival special trains. In this, some trains will be operated regularly while some will be run for three days or four days in a week. Apart from this, weekly trains will also run.

Please tell that Western Railway has decided to run new special trains from October 15 for the convenience of passengers in the festive season. In which Mumbai Central-Indore Superfast Avantika Express, Mumbai Central-Okha Superfast Saurashtra Mail and Bandra Terminus-Ramnagar Superfast Express will run from October 15. Apart from this, Bandra Terminus-Lucknow Superfast Express, Bandra Terminus-Bhuj AC Express, Bandra Terminus-H Nizamuddin Yuva Express and Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Tejas Express are also included.
