IND vs ENG 4th Test: England started poorly, 74 runs for three wickets till lunch

Ahmedabad : England lost three wickets for 74 runs till lunch on the first day of the fourth and final cricket Test against India on Thursday. Till lunch, Johnny Bairstow is on the crease by scoring 28 runs with the help of six fours off 64 balls and Ben Stokes on 24 runs with the help of three fours and a six off 40 balls. For India, Akshar Patel took two and Mohammad Siraj took one wicket.

Earlier, England won the toss in this match and decided to bat first. But England had a poor start. Akshar bowled opener Dominis Sibley cheaply and gave England the first blow. Sibley scored two runs in the eight-ball game.

England had not been able to recover from the shock before that when Akshar caught Jack Kravali in the hands of Siraj and sent him to the pavilion. Kravali scored nine runs off 30 balls with the help of a four. After this, England captain Joe Root tried to handle the innings with Johnny Bairstow but Siraj lbw to Root for a third blow to England. Root scored five runs off nine balls with the help of a four.

Team changes
England captain Joe Root decided to bat against India in the fourth and final cricket Test by winning the toss on Thursday. The England team included batsman Dan Lawrence in place of Stuart Broad and off-spinner Dom Bess in place of Joffra Archer. Jasprit Bumrah was replaced by Mohammad Siraj in the Indian team. Bumrah is out of the team due to personal reasons.
